Note 3-29-06 - Because of a few dropouts,
IPO 1 and IPO2 will be able to compete Friday instead of Thursday afternoon.
They will follow IPO3 Friday afternoon.

The Hospitality Room will be open at the Econo Lodge starting Tuesday.
Times will be posted later.
-
The championship event will include IPO1, 2 and 3, and dogs may enter for
a new title.

BH and an FH Team Challenge will be offered separately from the championship.
Al Govednik will judge the BH; Floyd Wilson will judge the FH. The schedule
will be announced later. Meantime, please contact Pam Hanrahan to indicate
your interest in entering those events.

The draw night will be at the Gadsden Senior Center on Broad Street in
Gadsden; the AWDF Board Meeting will be at Noccalula Falls.

The Competitors' Dinner will be 7 p.m. Wednesday night at Noccalula Falls.
Competitors
will eat free, $5 for guests.

Tracking will be at the Gadsden Airport. There will be practice tracking
fields. Maps will be placed at the hospitality room and at each motel.

The stadium will be open for practice from Monday through Thursday of the
week of the event. A signup sheet will be at the stadium. Competitors
will be able to practice every day, but must sign up for a practice time
on the stadium signup sheet on the morning of each day you wish to practice.
Thursday practice time will be reserved for late arrivals.

Volunteers are needed to work during the event Thursday, Friday, Saturday
and Sunday. Needed are track layers, a tracking leader for the airport
staging area, helpers to try out for the event; people willing to be part
of the group in obedience; people to work the gate, and other miscellaneous
help in the stadium. Even if you can only help for one day, please sign
up. E-mail Pam Hanrahan.
